Sumen is an hybrid program of company management and ERP.
Construction, real estate and property maintenance companies are the backbone of every economy, yet most small and mid-sized firms in this sector still run their business on a patchwork of disconnected tools. Invoices live in accounting software, projects in spreadsheets, worker schedules in phone calls and group chats, and maintenance records on paper. The result is lost billable hours, unclear project profitability, duplicated data entry and managers who struggle to see where their people, tools and money are at any given moment.

Sumen was built to solve exactly this. It is a cloud-based business management platform designed specifically for how these companies work, bringing sales, project management, workforce scheduling, tool tracking, property maintenance and accounting support together in one system.

Companies can create quotes and invoices in four languages (Estonian, Finnish, English and Swedish), send free e-invoices within Estonia and include QR codes that make payment effortless. Every project has its own profile with real-time profit and loss tracking, so managers always know whether a job is making money. Workers, tools and projects are scheduled in a single booking calendar, and time tracking feeds directly into reports and invoicing. Materials and working hours from purchase invoices are allocated automatically to the right project or warehouse, removing hours of manual administration.

For property managers and maintenance companies, the platform offers property and equipment profiles, planned maintenance scheduling, a digital service log and a QR-code fault reporting system that lets tenants or staff report issues instantly, with reports routed directly to the responsible partner. Completion certificates for both projects and maintenance work are generated within the system.

Behind all of this sits a robust control layer: around 115 configurable user permissions, a full audit log of changes to projects, time reports and invoices, and unlimited storage for documents and email archives.

What sets Sumen apart is the combination of deep industry-specific functionality with a complete financial backbone. General accounting and ERP systems are built for everyone and fit this sector poorly, while specialised field-service tools solve only part of the problem. Sumen covers the entire workflow, from the first quote to the final invoice, at a price accessible to small and medium-sized businesses.

The product is in final testing and we are currently onboarding pilot customers in Estonia. With multilingual support and Nordic invoicing standards already built in, the platform is ready for expansion into Finland and Sweden, markets with a large number of companies facing the same challenges.
